How is Impacto Digital financed?

At Impacto Digital we measure the results of our actions because we know that we can always find new ways to enhance their impact. The confection of our annual transparency report gives us an excuse to pause, analyze our work, and propose new challenges. Above all, it allows us to share the information with you, whose continued support sustains and strengthens our human rights initiatives.

The year 2024 was a challenging one for human rights in the region and in the world. Concerns in the technology field are growing about its uses, the naturalization of violence in social networks, algorithm biases, and the replacement of people by AI, among others.

Against this regression, we keep asking ourselves: can technology be at the service of human rights? We believe the answer is: yes, it can. And we continue to think of innovative ways to work on how.

At Impacto Digital, we are committed to creating technological solutions for social problems. We consider as a fundamental part of this process the work with the people who are affected by the problems addressed. Our organiza- tion continues working for the social and labor inclusion of trans people, the access to rights for people of African descent, the construction of non-adult-centered comprehensive sex education, and the care of those who care for the elderly.

We carry out training and digital communication projects to combat differ- ent forms of violence, strengthen the work of social organizations, and promote access to rights, especially those of vulnerable populations. Transparency is one of the fundamental pillars of our organization. We sustain our work thanks to the support of our funders. That’s why we would like to share with you everything we have accomplished during the year. Without further ado, we share with you our 2024 transparency report.
